Dan has worked on two Academy Award winning films: The Golden Compass and Life Of Pi.
Dan also won an Emmy Award in 2015 for his work on Game of Thrones, Season 5 with Rhythm & Hues Studios, an Oscar-winning character animation, visual effects and design studio.
For nearly 25 years, Dan has found great success working in: studio portraiture, conceptual and editorial photography, publicity shots, celebrity, and on-set photography.

Dan began work in computer graphics and post production in 1994. He has been working in post production for approximately twenty years.
Productions include: Land of the Lost, Cabin in the Woods, The Incredible Hulk, Minority Report, The Vampire’s Apprentice, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Star Trek Voyager, as well as many others.
He has also provided on-set FX supervision on various music videos.
Tools include: Nuke, Cinema 4D, Avid, Maya, After Effects, Houdini, Adobe Premiere, and in the past, Soft Image.
Art Direction (On Set)
Dan began work on set as an art director, props master, and on set stills photographer in 1994. His first assignment was on the film After the Game, as assistant props master and stills photographer. Later, he went on to become art director and production designer on various independent films and cable shows, such as ESPN’s “Portraits of Courage”, History Channel’s Rivals, A&E’s Biography, and more.
Dan has also had past experience in pre-production working for Pixel Liberation Front on Minority Report, as well as various independent productions including a project for Syd Mead.
